| Lobster roaches (Nauphoeta cinerea) are an excellent feeder roach especially for your average insectivore. They reach lengths of up to 1-1/4 inches as adults, the nymphs can be fed to most any small reptile. The meat to shell ratio is high, as the exoskeleton is thinner than many kinds of roaches. Geckos; bearded dragons; water dragons; and chameleons love these. These roaches are able to climb most surfaces.

| Hissing roaches (Gromphadorhina portentosa) are larger roaches for the larger appetite. These are great for feeding monitors, tegus, bearded dragons, larger chameleons and other insectivores. These roaches reach sexual maturity at around 6 months of age (approx. 2"). Some varieties of hisser roach can reach 4" in length. These roaches are able to climb most surfaces.
